When I first uploaded this image, I didn't have watermark. But I hope you understand why I decided to add it.
I've seen some of my work on photobucket without my permission.....:(
Look, giving link to this page is OK, but I don't give permission to re-upload my image elsewhere. When I give permission, it will be mentioned clearly with the art!!!!


This was fun... but drawing these flowers was a major pain!
Please full view to see expressions on their faces because they are hard see on small scale.

Situation of this drawing is:
Rin is looking pensively at something.... and Sesshoumaru notices what is reflected in her eyes.

The flower, "Higanbana" (red surprise-lilly) is in season this time of the year.
The flower is beautiful but poisonous, and children are often told not to touch it carelessly. I was thinking Rin's parents might have told her that too, and she may remember about them when she sees the flower...
Also the word "higan" is associated with afterlife/nirvana, and the buddhist ceremony for the dead ancestors.

I've just realized now.... Sesshoumaru is also a poisonous flower...:XD:

Very beautiful! I love how she's looking at the flowers and knows she can't touch, yet the most poisonous of all the flowers stands behind her. Very nicely done.
