July 2008: I've seen some of my work on photobucket including this image without my permission..... Look, giving link to this page is OK, but I don't give permission to re-upload my image elsewhere. When I give permission, it will be mentioned clearly with the art!!!!
This is inspired from Inuyasha vol. 14 chapter 129.
In original Manga, Rin finds Sesshoumaru badly wounded. Despite him trying to scare her away, she approaches and splashes water on his face to clean him. In anime episode this scene was cut off!!! I was very dissapointed.
Environment and Sesshoumaru's position are not exactly the same as in the manga, but this is supposed to be right after she splashed water on him XD.
Beautiful. That's one of my fave scenes from the manga, too. I like how the anime did it, but it's not nearly as good, I'll agree. She should have poured some water on him there, too.
Wow, very beautifully rendered. Is this pencil or charcoal or something of the like? I like the various uses of line to show the different textures, and the crosshatching lines that give it more depth and shade.......can you tell I draw with pencils alot and take lots of art classes? O_o LoL
I love this drawing. It's good to see more traditional media art these days.

Thank you This is done first in pencil and went over with graphic pen. Then ink wash is added with photoshop. I was working on not so great paper so pen worked better than pencil
It is true mark making often gives nice texture and more depth to a picture than smooth rendering.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Have a great time everyone and please fav this article so as many people can see the featured works. I would recommend seeing each one and faving them too.
