How are things with you? Who's still around anyway?!
It's been so quiet around here. Is it time for me to move on? I wonder.

I'm not around as much. Weather is nicer now,(though it is cool for June) so the renovation on our house has resumed. I spend less time on-line.
In terms of art and writing, I may be posting if I get enough chunk of time this summer. But it may depend on the enthusiasm of this venue.


My kitten Sofie is doing great. She is now 16 weeks old, has grown twice as large since she arrived 8 weeks ago.
She's almost always with me when I am in the house, except when she is too tired or I am in the restricted part of the house. She hugs my leg when she wants to be picked up and cuddled, and plays fetch with her little fish toy.
I've been taking lots of pictures of her, but it's challenging to get decent ones because she won't stay still, and I have a crappy basic auto-focus camera which doesn't give me any range of depth or shutter speed. I get maybe 2 or 3 half way decent shots out of 10-15 pictures.
I have to say, one nice thing about taking kitty pictures is that it doesn't take as much time or effort on my part unlike drawing pictures, and you just can't go wrong, as long as the image is clear enough. On the other hand, they are NOT the most satisfying creative outlet...they are too instantaneous.
Still, I love documenting my kitty.

Oh, and lately I found this site called Skin Deep => [link] which is a site that reviews cosmetic safety. It is a very informative site, you can enter the brand/product name in their search field and find out how safe/hazardous it is and why. They are a bit on the strict side, so don't be surprised most store brands to be rated above level 5. (safest 0 to most hazardous 10) My moisturizer, which is 100% vegetarian ingredients and complies EU directive standards, was rated level 7 unfortunately. I suppose I should look for a new moisturizer.
